ReplyDeleteReally nice work here. You've integrated the heartbeat just below the surface, which helps to underscore and enhance the tension/story of this poem. I like too that you speak slowly and clearly; you've done the best job of this so far for that reason. We are able to stick with you because you're not rushing or hurrying along. I am really looking forward to seeing what you and Savannah come up with for your story podcast.
ReplyDeleteBefore this, I had never heard of Andrea Gibson.. but you did her justice! I really enjoyed the piece on its own as well as the way your recited her piece!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you are recovering from a very bad illness and managed to participate in class in an educational manner. As I mentioned to you one of my friends had Lyme Disease and went through similar problems as you did. Hopefully, all of the pain and suffering has made you a stronger person. I wish you all the best in the future.
